SEI Partners With Rothschild Asset Management For CIT Offering

SEI has partnered with Rothschild Asset Management for its collective investment trust offering for the US retirement market.

Rothschild Asset Management is the US asset management business of the Rothschild Group, and is active in small-, mid-, large-cap and balanced strategies. The partnership will allow Rothschild to quickly launch cost-effective strategies to the US retirement market, SEI said.

The two firms have developed a suite of CITs that will focus primarily on the defined contribution retirement plan market.

"We have worked with SEI to develop and launch seven new daily valued CIT products for the US market,” said Michael Tamasco, Rothschild's chief marketing officer.

“We are excited to be working with SEI as we look to expand our retirement business in the US," he added.

"As the fiduciary landscape for retirement assets continues to evolve, CITs are uniquely positioned to take advantage of this evolution," said John Alshefski, a senior vice president at SEI's investment manager services division.
